There are times when shopping in regular stores can be so overrated. You’re not over it completely, but every now and then you just want something more unique. Most times, those unique items can’t be found in your everyday store. Vintage shops and thrift stores do a great job of having some great pieces, but making it out to one can be challenging. No worries though! Look no further, than your mom’s closet. I stumbled across this vintage jumpsuit my mom owned in the 90’s and many other pieces without leaving my house.
This jumpsuit surely fits the times because floral was all the rage back then. Snagging this out of my mom’s closet was a major steal. I wanted something vintage for an event that I was going to and stumbling across this was everything. Honestly, she doesn’t know this, but I don’t think she’s getting this baby back. I mean vintage finds that you’re comfortable in are hard to come by as it is. I found this one like many others in her closet, so giving it back isn’t really on my radar.
This jumpsuit has shoulder pads which makes it more epic. It’s also loose in the best way and extremely comfortable. Though it looks weighty, the material of the jumper is very light. So, the next time you’re in need of a vintage find stray no farther than your mom’s closet!
