TUXEDO DRESS LOVE WITH MISSGUIDED

Hola babes! I’m excited to share a tuxedo dress that I purchased a bit ago from Missguided today on With Love, Thelms! Granted it’s a piece in my wardrobe that doesn’t see the light of day too often, but when it does… magic happens.

Babes I encounter throughout the day will stop and ask where I snagged the gem from. This obvi leaves me feeling solidified in this purchase, made at 2am after a random binge of unnecessary online shopping. Let’s just say I’m working on me LOL.

However, before we jump into specific outfit deets, LIFE UPDATE.

So February will be over in a few days and I couldn’t be more excited. The end of this month means I’m one step closer to the end of this semester and two steps closer to vacation time.

P.S. I can’t wait to share with you babes where I’m headed come early May!

Although Spring Break will be here soon enough, I’m nothing for the teasers. I want the reeeeal thing man.

I want to watch TV till my eyes hurt, read for pleasure until my brain can’t take any more information, hang with the girls for shits and giggles — all the while not feeling a single sense of guilt because I have no assignments waiting for me on the other side.

I’m almost positive the person who coined ‘living on the wild side‘ was talking about that exact scenario.

Anyway, that’s as much of a life update as you babes will get today.

Keep reading for, Tuxedo Dress Love with Missguided — the real reason you babes are here. *wink

So this look.

Nowadays for various fashion events and elegant outings with your girls, many are starting to reach for the tuxedo dress to get the night downpack.

When the tuxedo dress trend first hit the scene, many gravitated towards it with intensity much like parched Southern babes gravitate towards iced tea.

You get my drift?

I think it’s because there’s something about women dressed in menswear no matter the form that is sensual, appealing, and downright a moment. Menswear allows women to play into that androgynous side without falling too into the abyss with no way of returning to femininity. After all, it is the nod to menswear that started the tuxedo dress.

It also doesn’t hurt that celebrities alike have fallen in love with the Tuxedo Dress such as Rihanna (Fashion Queen Mother), Kim Kardashian, and many other babes. So much so that I believe the Tuxedo Dress is becoming less of a trend to be tossed out in a few years, and more of a staple piece needed for every woman’s wardrobe for years and years to come.

SO, it’s no wonder that I had to show some Tuxedo Dress Love with Missguided.
