Oh happy day, oh happy day! Gooooood morning babes. I figured I start today’s chat with some excitement and enthusiasm. If you woke up this morning dreading having to go to work, that it’s Monday, or whatever the case may be — I hope that me adding a bit of cheer into this post makes your day a little bit better.
Let’s talk about happier times real quick, THE weekend. What did you guys do this weekend? I worked, played catch up on writing blog content I want to bring to you guys soon, and had major girl time with my BFF. She lives in San Antonio for school, so I don’t see her as often as I would like. Soooo, when I know she’s home hanging out with her is a priority. All in all, I had an amazing and yet tiresome weekend to say the least.
Today, I’ll be shooting a challenge video with the BFF which might have you guys on the floor with laughter. Hint: baby food may or may not be involved. AND! I’m going to be filming a makeup tutorial and doing a Kylie Cosmetics: The Burgundy Palette, first impressions + review. Stay tuned for those xx.
I might follow that up with a mini shoot day, going sightseeing around my city to take more scenic shots. I’m kind of thinking about doing something cool with my personal photography, but I’m not sure yet. Eek.
This morning however, I’m accompanying my BFF as she gets her hair cut, come along with me on SNAPCHAT for my day: thelmsssss (there are 5 S’ which is so absurd I know. I couldn’t think of anything else when I made it)
I never like to say that today’s going to be a good one because usually when I do it goes to shit, so instead. Today looks promising. *Wink
So this look right huuuur’: Last week, I told you guys that I have been dying over a lot of Missguided’s clothing and I wasn’t lying. Literally everything on the site has been so yummy and extremely hard to resist. This look gives me fancy soccer mom, picking my child up from school after work vibes.
It’s so classy and so damn chic. Obsessed.
The denim is from Forever 21. I like to by dispensable denim from them because it’s always inexpensive (like I’m talking no more that $27, inexpensive).
The stripes killer is from Forever 21 as well. It’s starting to get a bit chilly in the mornings here in Houston. Shocker! So, this cute mock turtleneck is everything. It’s also very fall, so that’s an added bonus.

No, but seriously I’m so obsessed with this look for fall. It’s everything tan meets stripes is supposed to be like when they come together.
I’m now tossing on clothes in a manic manner because my BFF is headed over to grab me before we skedaddle to her hair appointment. Why in a manic manner you may ask? Weeeeelll, I was supposed to be ready ten minutes ago and she will be here in two. Catch my drift?
