Hi baby loves! How’s your Tuesday been?

I hope swell (do people still say swell or ever say swell? I don’t know, but I like it so I’m rolling with it).

Anyway.

With Summer definitely upon us, I can’t help but feel excited about all there is to do and see. For me, outside of the dread that is summer school, these next few months have always been a great time to reconnect with friends and loved ones. Catching late dinners with girlfriends (and finally hearing the tea on Jake’s latest sidepiece), having sushi with the guys (and hearing about why Chloe’s pissed at Charlie), or hitting the movies with my best friend (and figuring out by the end of it, we’ve seen another shitty movie) — are just a few of the ways I like to get back in the groove of things with friends.

I just want to start off this post before I get into anything else, by saying thank you.

If you’re like me, you either know someone; love someone, or have lost someone who served or is serving our country. Men and women throughout our country, have committed their lives to protect us all on the homefront. They face evils and wickedness unknown to us, so that we can continue leading the lives we live (and cherish so very much).

So thank you. To every soldier fighting the good fight and those we’ve lost along the way.

Thank you for fighting for us and making a commitment to bleed red, white, and blue no matter the cost.
