I don’t know if it’s a girl thing or just a Thelms thing, but I hardly ever leave my house without some sort of purse. What starts off as just needing a wallet and keys, quickly turns into needing chapstick, lip gloss, lotion, a snack, water, and everything under the freaking sun. Hopes of travelling light on a quick run to the grocery store or wherever — are quickly shot to hell.
Needless to say, carrying just a wallet and keys, isn’t always the case for me. Luckily, rocking super chic purses makes never travelling light, not such a bad thing.

YOOO.
I know I’ve gone completely ghost on the blog, but there’s a few good reasons why. One being that school recently just picked back up again, and for some reason I’ve had a tough time adjusting. The others being that I needed to piece new content together and just get my life in functioning order again. I can now say with excitement that I’ve pretty much done all three things, which is why I’m back chatting with you babes. In light of my return, I wanted to jump into sharing! I’m all about putting you babes up on game and today’s post is no different.
SO. Keep reading for my First Impressions on Benjy’s, a new food spot I visited a little bit ago.

Happy Labor Day you guys! Though Labor Day isn’t a holiday people particularly love, I do… quite a bit. I don’t know. I guess this holiday always sticks out to me for a few reasons, Continue Reading
Okay babes. Before I begin reliving my experience during my night out at my very first blogger event, I want to touch on something very near and dear to my heart.
On Friday night, the state of Texas was hit with a Category 4 Hurricane, also known as Hurricane Harvey. In its wake it left many families in the city of Houston displaced from their homes, losing those they loved to the weather, and in an overall state of fear. Though thankfully I was unaffected by the hurricane/storm, many of my fellow Houstonians weren’t so lucky. As I do my part to begin the process of rebuilding my city and providing what I can for those in need, I urge my readers to do the same. No donation is too small or not sufficient enough. Every thing counts and will go a long way towards providing for families and individuals who have lost most or everything.
If you’d like to make a donation, please visit this website: https://ghcf.org/hurricane-relief/
With your help, better days are ahead for the city of Houston; a place I call home and love so dearly.
