I was in the midst of sorting through old school notes and trying to get my life together when it hit me… I’ve been having the travel bug something bad lately. I figured what better way to get over this bug or itch, then scratch it — by making today’s Sunday Chat: Travel Bug, the main attraction. By the way, the bug itch thing? Sounded so much cooler in my head LOL.
Cosmopolitan
No.
It’s always the reflective response we have to any yes or no question we’re asked. I’m not even totally sure why. I guess it’s our minds way of combating the demands of everyday life by putting ourselves in an automatic “no mode.” No to a drink with the girls. No to art museum escapades. A quick no to damn near everything, instead of simply saying yes. Though at times it can be beneficial (allow you the opportunity to get things done, play things safe), it can also hinder growth in many ways.
Happy Monday y’all!
No, but seriously. Happy Monday y’all! It’s Labor Day, which means (if you’re like me) you babes are still riding high on the four day weekend. After all — eating, laughing, and being merry is what this four day weekend is all about.
& a lot of that I did which included trying out a local eatery, Emmaline.
That gah damn bed hair is a killer, isn’t it?
If you’re any girl in the entire global hemisphere — you’re bound to wake up with shitty morning hair. It’s just a thing us girls have to deal with (eye roll). Unless you’ve had a Sanaa Lathan moment and shaved it all off for the sake of a movie (or whatever else). In any event, dealing with a head full of messy hair can be tough. However, I’ve recently figured out how I’m taking my take my hair from shit to it when I’m crunched for time in the AM.
YOU GUYS.
Today was my first day back to school! If you’ve been keeping up with the blog this summer you know that I have been in summer school for what felt like forever. Trying to keep my successful students title going and all. Gah. So naturally, being back so soon isn’t on my list of things I’m excited about. However, I have always prided myself in being able to get my head on straight, jump back into the swing of things, and achieve success.
