Happy Friday y’all! If you’re an OG member of the With Love, Thelms family then Being A Tourist In My City should sound pretty familiar. Last year around this time, I advocated for us babes to periodically become tourists in our own cities. Missed it? Catch up here.

In the blog post, I went on to chat about the benefits that come with exploring the city you’re from and how impactful doing so can be. To some it may sound silly because — How wouldn’t you know the ins and outs of a city you were born and raised in? But y’all it is possible. It is more than possible to experience a city in varying ways depending on the point you happen to be at in life. For example. LOL. Can we talk about the image for today’s post for just a second? It can’t scream behind the scenes more than it already does because the above image was me just last week. Here’s the backstory: Last week as I struggled to do up my pants in the car for shoot day with my photographer, a few thoughts came to mind. The first being that I really needed to look into cars with more backseat leg room because wow. Trying to slide on jeans or much of anything in a car is hard af. The second thought?
