Just the thought of food can have my mouth watering like a stream. What can I say? I love good food. I’m not always down to try new things, but when I do; I usually fall in love. I’ve been told by a certain best friend that I can be really picky when it comes to food. I’ve got it down to a science though. It’s all about my craving in relation to mood. I have to be in the mood to try new things or in the mood to stick with Mexican. There’s a mood for sushi and a mood for Italian. When it comes to my mood, something I’m always craving and in the mood for are: TACOS with a capital T. They never bore me and are like a revolving door in my life. Believe it or not, a gas station makes one of my faves!
That then begs me to wonder, could tacos be gas station’s best kept secret? I don’t think so. I’ve tried a lot of different tacos at various gas stations and let’s just say most of them were pretty awful. You could just tell the people behind it weren’t making it from scratch or just didn’t really care how it turned out. Some gas stations have even burnt mine pretty bad and tried to disguise it by drowning the taco in salsa. Can you believe that? I can because tacos ARE NOT gas stations best kept secret. In fact, for many gas stations tacos are their in your face nightmare. Don’t get me wrong though! It’s not impossible to find amazing tacos at gas stations, I mean I did. Finding ones that tickle your particular taste buds, just might be quite the search.
