Morning babes! It’s officially the start of the week and I’m pretty pumped. I have a lot to get done today as well as through the week. Usually, I’d be dreading all those tasks — BUT. This week I’m not (hoping I’m still singing this same tune by the end of today). I finally found an apartment, so that may be contributing to my ‘let’s get it’ attitude this week, but overall I’m just trying to live in light and love. That all happens by taking a positive outlook on whatever is ahead of you! So Monday, BRING IT OOOOOOON.
The weather’s not holding me back either whoooo hooo. Y’all know I have to talk about the weather because it affects how efficiently I can get things done. Pitiful, I know.
Okay, so back story on my excitement about the weather not holding me back. It was really freaking cold this weekend, so I pretty much stayed at home for a majority of it. I did step out yesterday for church and a shoot day with my girl Jules, but that’s as much as I could get out. Although, I love wearing my sweaters and turtles during this season — I’m not too sure I want sweater weather forever.
It’s too dang on a cold and I’m a Texas girl that doesn’t want the super chilly days to last forever.
If I have to step out in said chilly weather however, I am prepared.
So I snagged my favorite off shoulder sweater from Missguided because YES. They legit make most of my all-time favorite sweaters and the fact that they are inexpensive is just the best bonus.
I paired my OTKS (find out more about how I fell in love) with my suuuuuuuper inexpensive black denim jeans and finished off the look!
So what do y’all think? Will my outfit help me brave the chilly ass weather? I think so, and it’ll also keep me from looking like a hobo while doing so (because being one when I’m cold is toooo easy).
Anywhoooo. That is all from ya girl! I am off to organize and edit pics from my shoot day yesterday, bake snicker doodles (trying my hand at them because the recipe makes them seem sooo yummy), and do adult things like attend orientations and sign leases on apartments and such.
