You would be shocked by how easy chokers work with every outfit. Chokers have always been in style, but it’s level of popularity changes from year to year. This year it has been super trendy with models like Gigi Hadid, Jourdan Dunn, and so forth rocking it to perfection. I find that I just can’t live without it. To be honest, I don’t know how I ever did! This accessory just makes outfits that I have on with a lot of open area (in between the chest and head) less open.
Chokers in black or nude are just classic because they are very versatile. Those colors can be paired with so much, so the options are endless. Thin chokers can slim down the neck and draw it in giving off the appearance of a swan-like neck. However, a thicker choker does more to shorten the neck. The style of the choker is also something to take note of when looking to buy one. A busier choker works best with a simple outfit. A simple choker works best with a busier outfit. There are times when busy on busy works, but the chances are usually slim. You’ll find more often that simple on simple will work best. Your choice of a choker will totally be what you’re comfortable with!
Some of my favorite chokers are from Forever 21 and are very inexpensive. If you’re in search for more unique ones, Etsy is the site to visit! I’ve purchased a few from them and have been super pleased. Like Etsy and Forever 21, Missguided is a great site to visit if you’re looking to spend a little less coins. Topshop is also a really great place to purchase a plethora of unique chokers. The velvet thick choker in the picture below is from Topshop! Nasty Gal has some cool ones too for a bit more coins.
