SEPTEMBER 1ST

September 1st.

Let’s start fresh. Go back to the start. Make today new. We have the opportunity to do this. Leave everything behind and start over again. A time for new intentions and new results.

We owe ourselves that much. You and I.

What was lost is now gone and it’s time to rebuild. Time to let the feet we walk on carry us forward. It’s the beginning of a new month; September 1st.

I don’t want us to wallow on what happened on the last day of last month. Instead, I want us to smile about what’s going to happen on the first day of this new month and what’s to come. That yoga class you keep promising your good girlfriends you’ll join, JOIN. That diet you promised yourself you would start, START. That goal to be productive you keep telling yourself you will accomplish, ACCOMPLISH. That class you’re struggling in and keep telling yourself you’re going to turn around for the better, TURN IT AROUND FOR THE BETTER. That guy you said you’re going to leave in the dust because of the way he treats you, LEAVE HIS ASS IN THE DUST.

We owe ourselves that much. You and I.

It’s time to refocus. Where we have lost our way, let’s find it again. It’s time to make a clean break and start fresh again. Not because we can change the past, but start fresh because we might just be able to change the future. Why do we restart our brains, our mind, our everything at the start of a new month? To feel whole again because the relief that the beginning of anything brings, provides us all with a chance to do better. So do better.

Enjoy today and revel in the grace we’ve been given to see the start of this all. It’s the beginning of a new month; September 1st.
