REBELLING AGAINST THE COLD IN MISSGUIDED

HELLO Monday.

It’s the start of another new week, but this week just might be the best one yet. Why you may ask? Because at the end of this one it’ll be…

SPRING BREAK! Hey now! I am so freaking excited to rebel by kicking back during the day (and kinda studying), sip on margs at night with great friends, and lollygag for the time between.

So you can imagine, I’m clearly excited to start this week. I’m going to kick this week’s ass with a bunch of productivity, resourcefulness, and drive.

Today is going to be a great freaking day.

Say it with me y’all. We’re kicking ass today, you better believe it.

So this look.

I’m kind of sick of discussing the weather every other post lol, but it plays such a huuuuge part in my daily activities — what can I say?! I can’t help myself. I’m just so tired of my city’s inability to decide where it wants to reside weather wise. One minute I’m freezing my ass off trying to get bundled up, ripping my clothes (kinda sorta not really, but actually literally) I’m so hot, or floating around not knowing if I’m about to burn up or cool all the way down.

Enough is enough.

I have decided to rebel against the cold and whip out my fave mini skirt and show some skin and major leg. This just might initiate warmer whether OR have an adverse effect and I get pneumonia lmao. I’m hoping for the first!

As mentioned earlier, part of the rebel process was whipping out my fave faux suede skirt from Missguided. I am in love with this fabric, this style, this shade… it’s sooo good. The quality is so dang nice and so easy to slip on. Although there are ties and loops involved, getting into it isn’t difficult — I promise.

I paired the skirt with a white off the shoulder top because I wanted to give this cold weather a run for its money by forcing it to see spring in me. I love white and earth tones (like this tan skirt), paired together because it’s a subtle way of doing spring without all the floral. Believe it or not, as much as I live for a good feminine perceived outfit, floral CAN be a lot at times.

Don’t get me wrong though. This outfit still gives off major femininity, it’s just not shoved down your throat.

I finished the look off with slip on sandals from H&M because what says ‘I hate you cold weather, go away’ than wearing sandals in wet freezing temps.

I either am really silly and want to injure my tailbone, or I’m exceptionally smart and in a few days my plan of rebellion will bring forth amazing weather.

That’s it for now babes!

Kick Monday’s ass and let’s get wild next week.

Stay productive AF,

Thelms xx
