Have you ever looked at the life you’ve led so far and want to turn back the clock — the hand of time.
Not to change major things, but the small things — the things that seemed so insignificant at the time.
“been a minute, but I’m back — I wasn’t finished so there’s that.”
It’s the self formulated quote that kept making its presence known in my head (thinking it only right to use it as my caption for my photo detailing my return to the ‘gram lol — we’re about to get deep so I figure we’d bring some light to things before the waters get a little treacherous) as I contemplated a few things:
Practicing the art of not giving a fuck ($!%&) is actually harder than most people think. It takes a certain amount of effort and resilience to go against caring about the thoughts or opinions of others.
I voted for the first time in 2016 during the presidential election that got Donald Trump sworn into office. I’m ashamed to admit that because I was 21 at the time. For one, I’m ashamed that I hadn’t taken an active part in the fight for change and allowing my voice to be heard prior to that election — being that I was given the opportunity to do so since turning 18.
