THE PURSE I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT

can't live without

I don’t know if it’s a girl thing or just a Thelms thing, but I hardly ever leave my house without some sort of purse. What starts off as just needing a wallet and keys, quickly turns into needing chapstick, lip gloss, lotion, a snack, water, and everything under the freaking sun. Hopes of travelling light on a quick run to the grocery store or wherever — are quickly shot to hell.

Needless to say, carrying just a wallet and keys, isn’t always the case for me. Luckily, rocking super chic purses makes never travelling light, not such a bad thing.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: BENJY’S

Benjy's

YOOO.

I know I’ve gone completely ghost on the blog, but there’s a few good reasons why. One being that school recently just picked back up again, and for some reason I’ve had a tough time adjusting. The others being that I needed to piece new content together and just get my life in functioning order again. I can now say with excitement that I’ve pretty much done all three things, which is why I’m back chatting with you babes. In light of my return, I wanted to jump into sharing! I’m all about putting you babes up on game and today’s post is no different.

SO. Keep reading for my First Impressions on Benjy’s, a new food spot I visited a little bit ago.

LET ME EXPLAIN

explain

It’s not something you just know, or feel automatically.

You don’t know its there till you’re calling a friend at 3 in the morning, on the verge of tears.

She asks you what’s wrong, sensing something the moment you say hello.

It’s nothing you say, hoping the louder and more confidently you say it, the less real it will become.

How do you explain to someone that school’s great, family’s great, hell life’s pretty dang great, but something else, small but present is building within you.

You refuse to say it because voicing it, saying it out loud might make it that much realer.

But what if voicing it saves you.

What if explaining the broken pieces within you brings them back together again.

So, after the third nudge from your friend you realize it’s time.

Time to save you.

With a voice just barely above a whisper, you sigh and mumble,

“Let me explain.”
