Outfit Breakdown for September

So the month of September is coming to a close, thank God. Not that this month has been bad, but more so that this month has felt unusually busy and prolonged. However, with the unusual business came outfits that gave me all the feels when I stepped out.

In light of that and all the DMs I get on the regular of my outfit choices I’m taking the end of the month to do two things on the blog. The first, breakdown my look and share details (& link’s if possible). The second, commit to doing an outfit breakdown at the end of each month.

Let’s get started shall we?

Outfit #1

Zara Button Down dress

I snagged this dress a few years ago, so I doubt there will be any way to link it now. However, this style is usually always available at any of your favorite places to shop. Just search button down dress and a ton will populate.

Outfit #2

Zara white basic top, maroon joggers, and ASOS heeled sandals.

PSA: every woman should own a black, white, and tan (or beige) basic sleeveless top. Owning one is so beneficial when you’re simply grabbing drinks with a friend and need a pair of pants to go with it. In my case, I was headed out for drinks and wanted to be comfortable but cute. The joggers were perfect for the bar scene. They also did a great job of not making me look like I was trying hard.

Outfit #3

90’s polka dot top (thanks Mom), white trash shorts from Pacsun, and Forever 21 sandals.

This look was put together courtesy of the need I had to get my passport information redone. I’d gotten all dolled up and wanted a cute and summer outfit to go with it. It was a hot day so I opted for short shorts and my mom’s old school — but still very relevant top I snagged from her. Thanks mom, but sorry not sorry LOL.

Outfit #4

Pretty Little Thing Grey Marbled onesie

I actually really enjoyed rocking this outfit for my good girlfriend’s birthday! She had a slumber/game night gathering and it was so much fun. This look was the perfect fit to make it through such a fun and drunken night of foolishness LOL.

Outfit #5

ASOS Batwing Marigold Dress

Last, but certainly not least was the look that sent September off with a bang! When I saw this dress online I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE IT. The color was so striking and I knew it would look amazing on my skin tone. I also happen to be very partial to mini dresses so snagging this was a no brainer.

Though these looks weren’t all the ones I rocked this month, they certainly were the most memorable. I can’t wait to share next month’s outfit breakdown.

P.S. I ALWAYS share deets (details) of my looks on my Instagram in the highlighted “ootds” section. So have a look babes!
