Who’s ready for an October Outfit Breakdown?
Okay so I’m a little bit late on my outfit breakdown for the month of October — but I’m here y’all. I’m ready to share all the looks I rocked during a month that turned out to be tons of fun.
From going out to eat with friends, meeting new people, and visiting my Godson + his mom in a neighboring city… October was filled with a lot of high highs.
So I’m taking the opportunity to recap on a month of outfits that brought me such good.
Ready to dive in in to my October Outfit Breakdown?
Let’s get into it!
OUTFIT #1
At the start of October it actually started feeling a bit cooler in Houston. The temperatures dropped and with that throwing on a jacket became more of a necessity. I rocked my Forever 21 motor jacket with a white basic top from Zara (everyone needs at least 3 in different colors). I added a black ribbed midi skirt from Zara, sandals from Forever 21 and my Aldo bag to tie the look together.
OUTFIT #2
For this look, I was hitting the town on a warm fall night in Houston. Naturally, I needed the perfect look to match. I decided on a crop top from Boohoo, my OG thrifted vintage denim from years ago, and the perfect going out heels (my bb heels from Zara). I brought my blue BCBG quilted bag to complete the look.
OUTFIT #3
This was such a simple, but fly ass look and I loved it. I usually gravitate towards any look that doesn’t require a lot so when my girl and I decided to have a nice dinner at a spot I wanted to introduce them to — I jumped at the opportunity to rock this look. This ribbed midi dress was perfect for a warm October night and can also be transitioned into winter with thigh high boots and a big longline coat. The color also did wonders for making it clear what season we are in! Cheers to fall y’all.
OUTFIT #4
I went to Dallas and boy was it cold. So it was a no brainer that in this look I opted for a cozy poncho from Forever 21, denim jeans, a long sleeve top, and my treasured Aldo loafers. Y’all this look was big for me because I honestly can’t remember the last time or if I’ve ever worn a poncho before lol. But you do what you gotta do when it’s cold cold where you are.
OUTFIT #5
This look was probably one of my favorites during October. This look screamed “boujie bitch alert, do not touch without permission…” LOL. I mean, am I lying? The cropped waterfall coat from Boohoo, paired with the cropped sweater from Pretty Little Thing, white pants, and my Topshop purse in toe — yeah I had very rich bitch vibes on the brain that night LOLOLOL.
OUTFIT #6
Did I say the last look was my favorite from October? Whoops. I definitely meant this one was my fave. So for Halloween I dressed up as a Playboy “Playmate of the year award goes to me” bunny. This is the sexiest I’ve ever been for Halloween and after the way doing so made me feel… I just might be sticking to doing so going forward. After my weight loss, wearing something like this made me feel so empowered and sure of myself. I may have a better understanding of the phrase, “flaunt it if you got it.”
Although a wee bit late, I am happy that I was able to share my October Outfit Breakdown.
Till next time babes,
Thelms
