NEUTRAL ZONE & DEFINED TONES

HOLA BABES! What have you guys been up to since the last time we chatted?

I myself, have been studying my life away (story of said life) and being an adult (paying bills, paying off my first ever speeding ticket, buying groceries for a party of one… you know the deal).

This weekend will be a chill one for me, not that I’m known to hit all the weekend ragers, but I definitely won’t be out and about as much. I feel like I only come up for air when I have to post content on the blog, shoot with Jules, be social for social’s sake, or do student stuff.

I’m trying to find the perfect balance between it all, but I fear there isn’t one to be found and it’s all or nothing.

Well freak, I’ll make up my balance, so I don’t completely lose my mind. LOL.

BUT. Enough of my woe is me tales. Let’s jump straight into some fashion talk, after all it’s my favorite way to cure sleepy eyes and a restless mind.

I have been loving neutral shades for quite a while now! I remember first introducing my love of this tone to you babes a while back and completely melting over how good it always looked on. I’m happy to report that my love is still going strong, however I’ve started adding definition to it when I have it on.

These days the motto is, sticking to the neutral zone but adding some definition with defined tones.

So this look.

This top is one of my fave knits! The knit is form fitting, but still has elasticity to it so it never feels suffocating when I have it on. I love that the neckline is lower, offering more femininity to whatever I have it paired with. I decided to add this skirt on and my faaaaave sleeveless wrap over jacket to solidify the look.

The wrap around jacket helped maintained the neutral zone, while the knit and skirt added the perfect amount of defined tones. Scoooore!

I finished off the look with my tie up flats from ASOS.

Neutral zone and defined tones might just be one of my fave looks! What do you guys think? Let’s chat about it in the comments below.

I’m off in a mad dash or caterpillar’s drag, so I can get back to drowning in the books. Life Jacket anyone?

Before I go, make sure to tune in to my instastory on Sunday! I’m showing you babes a behind the scenes of  what shoot days are like with my girl Jules, and how much fun we have.

Okay, I’m going, I’m going now.

See ya,

xx Thelms
