Today is the first day of February! HOLLA. I always get excited at the start of a new month because that means a chance at so many things. A new start, a new beginning at anything, a refresher; new month vibes. I thought it would be best to talk about what my JUJ for January was. My last JUJ was Cayenne Pepper in November! If you don’t recall what a JUJ is and what it means to me, you can find out here! I haven’t been giving you guys a thorough up to date on my JUJs, but I promise I’ll get better. This month my JUJ are the two pairs of sandals I purchased at the end of December.
Now, you may be thinking, “Who purchases sandals in the middle of the Winter?” This girl (I’m so pointing my finger at myself). I’ll share why I think buying sandals in the middle of the Winter Season is best.
I’ve been obsessing over these sandals since I purchased them. They’re so comfy and I’ve been wearing them non-stop throughout the month of January. I have always been and will continue to be a sandal wearer during the frigid Winter. I know it seems ridiculous, but my feet don’t get cold. Don’t get me wrong though, I wear my fair share of flats; tennis shoes; and boots. I just prefer opened toe shoes a tad bit more.
Getting these faux suede sandals in black was a no brainer. I love starting off with black because it will go with anything I choose to pair it with. I love the thickness of the band that extends horizontally on the sandal.
Of course I had to snag the nude pair! My obsession with neutral and earth tones is very real. So much so, that I’m attempting to incorporate those tones into everything I own.
