JUMPIN’ INTO JUMPSUITS

HOWDY.

Long time no talk. Eek.

I feel  like I either come on here bouncing around about it being almost the weekend, or that the weather is up to my standards. Today however, I’m bouncing around because I got to sleep iiiiiiiiin. Omg. You have no idea how hard I’m beaming over here wtf.

Sleeping in for me is a big deal because I NEVER get to do it. Not even on weekends. I’m always studying for something: taking notes for that class, and doing writing assignments for the next class… #nursingschoolLIFE. Needless to say, every morning is a ‘ugh it’s morning again’ time to put the pedal extra hard to the medal and get going. 

This morning however, I’m feeling super energized and ready to jump into school and maybe a jumpsuit or two for this upcoming spring-ish weather.

 

So, today’s look, is obvi, all about jumpsuits.

I’m so excited that the weather is finally looking like it’ll not only start cooperating, but remain consistent. I mean hey, good weather is a freaking virtue around these parts.

However, because you just never really know — a jumpsuit is my favorite way to be neutral and still be protected from the Texas heat, while being covered enough for the random Houston chills.

Jumpsuits just work all year round! Like seriously. You actually can’t say that about many things you wear during this time of the year… well unless you’re from the West Coast (LA to be specific). They make me feel so comfortable relaxed and can be dressed up or dressed down.

I particularly love them because they’re so easy to slip on. In the paaaast, I’ve had a being on time issue and when you’re late and your guy is blowing up your phone wondering ‘where tf you are’… Putting your hair in a tight top knot and one leg in the pants of your jumpsuit and the other out the door (almost literally haha), makes like so much eeeeeeasier.

 

I have a ton of jumpsuits (& you’ll be seeing a lot of them as the weather continues to warm up), but I snagged this one in particular for many reasons.

First, it’s suuuuuuper comfy. So duh, it was a no brainer.

Second, I love the fact that it’s black with speckled white detailing all over because that means it’s super transitional no matter the season.

And lastly, the material is not to thick but thin enough that I get some great breeze in it. So, I’m never too warm.

I hope babes go and snag some kick ass jumpsuits and rock them like you own the city. I sure will.
