I’ve recently learned so much about skincare and all the benefits of taking care of your skin. I’ve been talking to different estheticians and experts in the area about how to achieve great skincare. Recently due to stress as well as a lot of things going on in my life, I have been dealing with breakouts more than usual. It’s so easy to forget about the little things that need to be done in order to help skin appear healthier, but forgetting can be so damaging later. One of the most important things that you only have to keep up with once or twice a week would be a mask.
A mask of any sort is very beneficial to the skin. Whether it’s detoxifying (which I feel like are the best because they remove all the dirt from your pores), rejuvenating, blemish canceling, or brightening; any of these would be a great pick me up during the week. I personally prefer the Tony Moly Sheet Masks from Sephora
If you do anything, PLEASE do a mask. Of course wash your face every day, twice a day, but you’ve got to do a mask at least 1-2 times a week depending on your skin’s specific needs. Wear sunscreen every single day, even when it’s not “sunny” outside. Estheticians and dermatologists that I’ve spoken to say that this is one of the most important things we can do to protect our faces from any sun damage. Masks expose your face no matter what the purpose of it is and wearing sunscreen is important to keep it protected. Masks just make your face feel & appear cleaner and much fresher. Ladies, put those masks on and men you need it too… Lock your door, put that mask on, and start up a game of 2K. Before you know it, 15 minutes have passed and you get to wash it off. But hey! Don’t worry boys, everyone will just think you were having an intense 1st quarter and it’ll be our little secret, but ssssh, you can’t tell anyone.
