FLIRTING WITH TWEED

Hola babes.

I’m officially off of vacation mode and on to blogging mode. If you missed it, I went on a much needed vacay to Los Angeles, California and recapped my trip here. For my babes that religiously keep up with your girl, let’s get right to Flirting with Tweed — today’s blog post xx.

With summer hitting me in the face like pictures of couples after a bad breakup — I’ve been re-organizing my wardrobe and preparing for all this season brings with it.

Heat, heat, and more hot humid heat.

This Texas heat is no joke, and I’m pretty sure it never has been. & Though I could ramble on for hours about my tumultuous relationship with this Texas heat, Houston if we’re being particular… I won’t. Instead, I’d rather chat about the fit I’m wearing to stay cute and comfortable in the face of it all.

Moving on.

Why flirt with tweed?

Well, it’s so dang feminine for starters. There’s just something about a woman in tweed that makes being a female all the more kick ass. Afterall, tweed can take you on so many trips with its variations of wear.

Listen. The material can take you from a Monday business meeting, to a kick ass night out with the girls. It can also be the perfect look for a Saturday afternoon hangout at your local brunch spot; mine (Benjy’s or Tiny Boxwoods, in case you’re ever wondering 😉

With the motto for my wardrobe being at the forefront of my mind (always — comfy, minimalistic, and feminine), I put this look together with great ease. I went for the tweed because it was just exuuuuding femininity (way too good to ever pass on) and paired it with a light sleeved crop top.

I brought out my OG heeled sandals & fur mini purse to finish off the look.
