New day. New race. I always say this to myself at the start of a new day. The thought will just randomly pop in my head “new day, new race.” Why new race? Well for me, everyday is a new race to get things done in a timely manner and be all business about it. Let’s just say the more studious and no nonsense I am, the more productive. Today’s race: make hair appointments, go to work, switch out a purchase from Aldo, write new beauty posts for the blog, film new YT vids, and get my shit together overall. I was SO not kidding when I said new race. Lord help me make it through the day!
Also, I’m really excited to share with you guys that I’m trying something new with my hair! *cue the cheering and applause. These experimental bangs will be no more pretty pretty soon and so will this color! It was pretty fun to have bangs — even if it was for just a little bit, but I’m pretty over them at this point. I just hate having things in my face and a lot of the time I can’t deal with the random pieces of hair getting stuck between my eyeballs. I can’t wait to show you guys in a couple of weeks what the new hair will look like.
Now that I’ve shared my piece about that, let’s get into this denim + black. I LOVE denim and black together. There is something so business casss about the two that I squeal when I get to put these shades in one look. Something about pairing denim and black — does something to me. It’s so freaking classy and a little sexy. There’s this refinement that comes into play that makes them look so snazzy together.
I left the denim untucked because it’s so hot in Texas at times, that just tucking in my shirt makes me sweat. No but seriously.
I hope you guys have a great Wednesday, if you’re in Texas try not to sweat and my other babes… stay fierce.
love + light tribe.
