Winter style is upon us. It’s not super cold outside today and I am ecstatic. The sun’s shining and the wind is barely blowing if not at all. This is my kind of weather. However, I’m still doing the long sleeve thing for now because I’m not necessarily all the way in the clear. Texas weather is just so bipolar! I like to transition my wardrobe for the winter season by throwing in a few jackets, long pants, or long sleeved tops (winter style) into what I have on each day. I like the idea of protecting at least one part of my body from whatever winds may be blowing that day. If you haven’t guessed I hate being cold. It just makes me so uncomfortable and rigid. As that Snicker commercial coins, I’m not myself when I’m cold.

Has Sweater Weather taken full effect or what? The answer is yes. It’s getting so cold in Texas. This weather is what I was dreaming of on Christmas Day where the record high was a whopping 80 degrees. Now all I want to do is resend the cold and drag the heat back to my skin. Summer, where are you? The positive part about this new found cold season is that Sweater Weather gets to continue! I’m so excited. I have been loving rocking some of my favorite sweaters for this season out and about. For the past two weeks, I have shown you guys two really awesome sweaters that I’m obsessing over and now I get to show you the final one.
Let’s pop some champagne you guys! Today’s New Year’s Eve! WHOOOP! The year has probably flown by for some of you and dragged on for others. I’m so excited to enter into a new year! You guys have no idea. I’m so excited about what God has planned for me in the coming year. Common to many, the day of New Year’s Eve is not what people are most excited about, but the night time festivities ahead of them. Usually everyone’s biggest question for the night of New Year’s Eve is “What the heck am I going to wear to celebrate?!” Continue Reading
Bucket Bags have quickly swept in as a fashion trend must have since 2013. As 2015 is coming to an end very soon, these bucket bags are one of many trends that are here to stay. These bags are so easy to pair with any outfit; cozy or super dressy. I personally have a big obsession with them and purchased my very first one earlier this year from Francesca’s! The designers who are credited for putting these style of bags on the map are Rachel Mansur & Floriana Graviel of Mansur Gavriel. Their popular bucket bags have been worn by the likes of Aimee Song and other notable women.
Sweater Weather is still going strong. Although, where I’m from the weather fluctuates there’s nothing like a good cozy sweater to bundle up in just in case. This week, I’m focusing on a distressed sweater from Foreign Exchange! I love this sweater because it’s very versatile. Due to the distressed nature of the sweater it allows for a lot of air to pass through it. You could definitely get away with wearing this sweater in warmer temperatures! I sure do. Of course you can wear it in cooler temperatures as well, but again be mindful of the fact that it is distressed.
