I don’t think anyone can stand a douche bag. They’re ruthless in the way they treat women and have no regard for how it makes those women feel. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS is the motto, but sometimes a few of them slip through our brick wall and manage to snag a piece of our heart. Dang it. As time goes on and you encounter a few of them, you learn to rebuild the wall of bricks to a wall of impenetrable steel. But what about your bff? Men, men, men. They can be the best thing to ever come into your life or the worst — and that’s just putting it lightly. When they’re really into you, they go after you unrelentingly and do what it takes to keep you just the same. I’m not even going to lie you guys. Being chased by the guy you’re into… mouth watering. Turning 21 this past fall was such an exciting time in my life. It wasn’t exciting because I was finally able to drink legally (although that was a plus), but because I felt like I was getting to start a new stage in my life. For as long as I could remember I was always dying to grow up. Don’t tell anyone, but I don’t want to grow up anymore (it’s so hard), but it’s very necessary. Turning 21 is so much more than getting to drink legally as often as you’d like or party it up with your friends every night. Everyone knows the month of May is all about prom. It’s also that time of the year when graduations are just around the corner. At this moment, high school seniors are itching to throw their caps in the sky and toast to unlimited freedom. Trust me, I know because I used to be those guys. It feels like forever ago and then just yesterday that I graduated from high school. Three years later and I can’t help but reflect on everything my freshman year of college brought along with it. I learned so much and I just want to share some college advice with the seniors graduating high school in the next few weeks.
