Another day. Another sweater. Surprise, surprise.
My city is finally becoming #WeatherGoals again, but I can’t seem to let go of wearing sweaters. I know, I know… I just got through chatting with you babes on the last post about not being so sure that I want sweater weather to last forever.
Clearly, I’m as up and down with my feelings as Texas is with its choice of weather for the day.
I mean what is the deal with me?! Today the high is going to be a whopping 82 degrees and all I can think about are sweaters. I just can’t figure you out my beloved Houston,
Are we freezing our asses off, sweating walking from the grocery to the car, or just kickin’ it with lemonade on the porch?
Luckily, I don’t have to worry about what my city is trying to put out there in terms of weather in this look because it can work for any of those scenarios.
Another day, another sweater from Missguided has legit been my life as of late. This cold shoulder sweater is EVERYTHING and a bag of hot fry chips. Okay well maybe not completely because hot fries are reaaaaaally good, but you get my point. The shoulder detail allows for me to never get too hot, but the knit material allows for me to never get too cold either. Tots a 2 in 1 top for sure.
My mom jeans (they remind me of chic denim moms would wear LOL) were the perfect touch. They’re so comfy and so easy to dress up or dress down. In this case, I was totally giving them a little pzaaaaz by pairing my chunkies from Steve Madden with it.
So what did ya’ think babes?
As we speak, I’m eyeing my closet for today’s sweater choice (I knoooow the high is 82, so I’ll probs do a cropped one to give me some breathing room) because ‘another day, another’ sweater IS life for me right now.
Note to Self: Did I really just spend this entire post talking about the weather and wearing sweaters lmao?
Going to dive into the real world, so that maybe the next time we chat I have something more to bring to the table than just sweaters and weather talks.
