Let’s dive into day 3, shall we? The past two days I’ve featured some awesome swimwear that I love. Didn’t get a chance to look at Day 2? No worries, just play catch up here! If you have been keeping up with my new series daily, you’re probably wondering why I have spandex shorts on instead of swim bottoms. I guess I have some explaining to do, so let’s jump right into Day 3!
Today’s featured swimwear is a makeshift fit of sorts. The bottoms I have on are not technically swim bottoms and the top looks like a bra— although it’s actually a swim top! This fit is not for your average day at the beach, however it is the perfect fit for a day at the lake in my opinion! Places like Lake Travis, Barton Springs, Burger’s Lake, and Rio Vista Park are awesome places to go swimming with a great outdoorsy environment. Especially great, if you’re over the typical beach scene.
In these various lakes and rivers, I prefer keeping my body a little more covered than usual. Personally for me, I consider these places all natural (kinda like wildlife) and don’t feel comfortable having everything hang out in a skimpy bikini. Wouldn’t want a bug of any sort getting in my bottoms. Plus, a majority of these places are super family friendly and I take that into consideration. See you tomorrow for the 4th day in this “5 Days of Swimwear” series!
